Cash
Gifts of cash are available for immediate use by the Academy for endowment purposes and will provide instant tax savings to the donor. Checks should be made payable to Notre Dame Academy. Cash gifts can be made by credit card.

Gifts of Securities
Gifts of appreciated securities may be deducted at fair market value on the date of transfer to the Academy. These gifts are valued at the closing price as of the date of transfer.

Memorial and Honorary Gifts
A memorial gift to Notre Dame Academy can help to perpetuate values that guided a loved one's life. Gifts may honor a person during his or her lifetime or commemorate a significant event.

Planned Gifts
Gifts annuities, life insurance, charitable remainder trusts, lead trust and bequests are examples of planned giving. By making such a gift to Notre Dame Academy, you not only contribute to the Academy's future, but may enjoy a tax deduction or a reduction in capital gains or estate taxes.

Matching Gifts
Many business and corporations match personal gifts to educational institutions made by employees, retirees and their family members. Contact the personnel office at your own company for information about matching gifts.

United Way
Your company may be a member agency of the United Way. Payroll deductions can be designated through the United Way to benefit Notre Dame Academy. The United way account number for Notre Dame Academy is 18728. Nine percent of donations are retained by United Way for administrative purposes.

Mentor Scholarships
Alumnae and past parents have generously supported the Mentor Scholarship program. A gift of $250.00 or more benefits a specific student during her studies at the Academy or can be used to assist a family during a financial catastrophe.

Cana Scholars Project

Support for this program provides the necessary funding for a full tuition scholarship to a student from an inner-city Archdiocesan elementary school who meets all entrance requirements in academic performance, citizenship and community service. The project provides the opportunity for a student to attend Notre Dame Academy who would otherwise find it to be financially impossible.
