Admissions Process We understand that the application process can sometimes be overwhelming. We are here to help. Please call the Admissions Office with any questions (310) 839-5289 ext. 218.
1. Complete the application.
You may fill out the online application (available November 1st), download the application, or call the Admissions Office to request a paper application. Your application is not complete without the non-refundable $75 application fee. If you are applying on-line, please mail the receipt with your check to our business office. 2. Submit Transcripts and Reference Letters.
References are required from the applicant's 8th grade math and English teachers, elementary school principal, and a character reference from someone outside the school community. Please give this information to your teachers, principal and school office in a timely manner. 3. Take the High School Placement Test (HSPT).
Notre Dame Academy requires that applicants take the HSPT. It is not required that students take the test at Notre Dame Academy, however it is your responsibility to make sure your scores are sent to the Academy. You may register for the HSPT when you send in your application. If you are not taking the exam at Notre Dame Academy and the Academy is your first choice, please explain why the Academy is your first choice. If you do not take the HSPT at Notre Dame Academy, you will have to write the essay on the day of your interview. 4. Be interviewed.
You will receive your personal interview appointment time at the HSPT testing day. If you do not take the HSPT at Notre Dame Academy, your personal interview time will be mailed to you; please allow an extra half hour to make up the essay portion of the exam taken on the HSPT testing day. |
