What will we learn at the Open House?
The Open House is a chance for all interested students and their
parents to learn more about the NDA community. Each guest will be
taken on a student led tour and will hear presentations from teachers
in each department. At the Open House guests will have the opportunity
to explore the school campus, meet students, teachers, current NDA
parents and to learn more about our academic and extracurricular
program. No Reservations are required for Open House. When you arrive,
please park in the elementary school lot off of Clarkson, just south
of the school building. Out of respect for our neighbors, there
is no parking in the residential area.

What happens in the admissions interview?
The interview is truly a time for us to get to know each applicant
and her parents a little better. We are particularly interested
in the reason a student wants to attend Notre Dame Academy, her
experience with the Catholic faith and her desire to be part of
the NDA community.

How many students generally apply to NDA?
We encourage all students to apply to more than one school. Frequently,
therefore, we receive twice as many students for the freshman class
as we can accept. We do have a waiting list and our standard class
size is 120 - 130 students.

Does NDA accept transfer students?
We accept transfer students based on the current enrollment and
if the prospective transfer student meets all of our admission requirements.
Each transfer student is considered on a case-by-case basis.
Does NDA accept non-Catholic students?
As we are a Catholic school, we do give preference to Catholic students
who actively practice their faith. However, every year we do offer
admissions to a small number of non-Catholic students who are active
in their own Christian faith, have had some exposure to Catholic
teachings and education and meet our other requirements.

How to contact us:
You may contact the admissions office at (310) 839-5289 ext. 218.

Notre Dame Academy admits students of any
race, color, nationality and ethnic origin to all rights and activities
made available at the school. The school is non-discriminatory in
the admission of its educational policies, financial aid, athletic
and other school-administered programs.
